There is the full chicken coop, the inside, the egg box inside and out.
I hope this will help understand why we can't make the bully alone(I forgot the word all the sudden)

Your pen looks a little small do they get out in the day? I would keep them side by side for a while then turn them in together if they range outside that way they have more room to run away from a bully then when all seems well let them in together at night. It's nice if each hen has 4 square foot of space in the coop and 10 feet in their run so for 4 hens your coop should be 4x4.....then the outside run 10x4 the more space the better.

hmmm... Do you have a run? Or are they free range??

Definately not enough space for the smaller chickens to escape the adults. Check the square footage. You may not have room for more than 2 chickens. Introducing juveniles to adults is always a risky business.

Have you tried the side by side? I'd do that then put them in the run late afternoon and be there to watch then you can save anyone who needs it...
