its snowing omg!

Ughh! We are lucky if we get 1 snow that sticks down here..

The news people just get all giddy and have to go out and giggle like little school children when it does. Its so cute.

Snow? What's that?

We had the hottest summer on record here, and today tied the heat record of 92 degrees. A "cold" front is supposed to arrive tonight, which will bring us down to normal temps... around 75.

The drought finally broke. It rained for a week, so now mushrooms and mold spots are popping up everywhere. Too hot, too dry, too cold, too wet... makes me think I should move to Hawaii!

Here's a picture of my backyard this morning. Notice leaves still on trees. My pullets did not seem amused after witnessing their first snowfall! I'm pretty sure I will be moving in the next year or two - I really can't take this much longer!!
