This is how my girls react when I bring out my new camera anymore.

...Just kidding.

I was just figuring out the 'action shot' mode on my camera and got lots of pics. The Guineas were chasing each other and the hens were just going about their business...
Except Martha paused to give me a warning look when I aimed at her:

"You've taken quite enough pictures of me, I should think!"

Silly birds. My girls think my camera is food. They desperately try to peck at it. I've even had my BO jump up to my shoulder and reach around my face to peck at my camera.

Our chickens really DO panic when the camera shows up. Of course, they also panic if they see a plastic bag, or a paper plate, or a new piece of wood, or anything else unexpected.

Thanks for all the compliments, folks!

The ladies appreciate the love. ...It seems Martha's garnering a following here at BYC, too. XD Hmmm...

Yeah, that was Freema the other day. XD She didn't go for my shoulder, she just leapt up and pecked the lense, which in turn whacked me in the eye through the viewfinder.

Needless to say, I don't focus on getting a picture when they're showing THAT much interest anymore.

That sounds like my Guinea fowl. XD Something drives past, a car pulls in, anyone walks past their pen and they're screaming their little heads off. They've panicked because a log was left next to their enclosure. They flip out whenever I try to move a tarp or feed bag around them. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING, flies over and they're screaming... Heck, I threw an apple in there for a treat and they ran for cover! I only give them grass clippings anymore for treats. XD Meanwhile, we carry anything out of the house that's remotely foodlike or looks like a bowl/plate, and we have to wade through excited hens.
