NAME THAT COCHIN!!!!!

Sorry but we can't offer any exciting prizes here....just wondering if anyone can tell us what the chickens we bought my son a couple of weeks ago might grow up to be. We bought them at the feed store, they were simply labled as cochins.

Whatcha think? What color will they turn out?

Sorry, I realized after I had posted those first pics that you couldn't see the lighter one very well in them. You can't see much of her in the other one, but she's got lotsa white coming in with obvious black too. The wind was blowing pretty hard, and she had gone to sleep in Bryson's lap. She really didn't want to get up to have her picture made....

They were pretty wild when we first got them, and the darker one is still pretty hard to catch. They seem to be coming around, though. We got our Australorps and Delawares when they were just a day old, and they have been so much more receptive to handling than these we bought that were a little older. Our lorps and delis think they are lap chickens, am hoping these little girls will be as calm and gentle as our older girls.........
