Its upsetting to even think a neighbor would steal from you

The utility guy talked me through checking the meter. What they had our current meter reading was correct and the previous one is verified based on our last bill. Going to double check tomorrow. I probably won't involve them. We now have the water turned off anytime we leave the house even for a short time. Be glad when the house sells and I don't have to worry about neighborhoods anymore.
