Aww! That's really sweet. I'm thinking of getting some bantam Barred Rock hatching eggs this summer. I hear they have great temperaments.

Well if barred rocks do then the bantam barred rocks do to! My barred rocks lay very well, tame easily, are sweet, are very beautiful, and aren't aggressive.

I think that is a Silver Partridge Pekin. I am not 100% certain but it sure does have the same coloration. Hope that was helpful! I would google it though just to be sure...
