I'm glad to hear that your eggs are on track Peep-Chicken!
Before I began the process of encouraging my little broody to join the rest of the flock before she starves herself, I candled her last batch of eggs. Just for extra irony, one of them was not, in fact, empty. It was rotten! Looked deceptively chick-like for a minute there, but the people over in the incubating eggs section helped me to confirm that the absence of blood vessels was not promising.
At least the chickens managed to produce some manner of life, even if it was only bacteria!


Is anybody else getting snow? What do your bantams think?
