My hen just went broody a couple of days ago!!! She's in a coup with a rooster should I take the rooster out or leave him in there ?? Help guys plz

Thank you . I knew they weren't likely to be fertile though so I didn't get my hopes up. My broody girl is Float, one of the Golden Laced Sebright x Silver Duckwing OEGB crosses I was given. Pretty indeed! I love those guys. She's a little sweetie too. Does anyone else have crosses?

I hope they hatch. Some might not be fertile since we have no Roo anymore. And the fertile ones are a little old. But tomorrow we might go to our friends and get some fertile eggs. I'm going to candle them and post pics!

I'm pretty sure. The last time out rooster was here was on New Year's Day. So about 32 days since then.

Egg 1-7 are not in this hatch. Egg 13 got cracked the other day, it went to the chickens. It was defiantly fertile when I cracked it.
