I've always dreamed, and now I have 'em! Hooray for Chickens!

Hello

My name is Rebekah, wife to Jim, mommy to Jake and Emily, stepmama to Hayley... and now mama hen to 4 baby chicks. We picked up a white leghorn, a rhode island red, a barred rock, and an ameraucana at the feed store yesterday. Unfortunately, our little barred rock started looking quite droopy and by this afternoon was laying flat and not eating/drinking. Thankfully, the feed store exchanged her; I got a jersey giant as a replacement. I hope they can nurse the little sickie back to health!

I'm a total newbie, and have been reading all evening and gaining lots of chicken wisdom from you folks! Looking forward to getting to know you all
