I've been bitten ! 😱

What? Because you have a bit foot, not a fatty liver?
I'm just explaining my reasoning. So you can look it up and decide if you want to follow my idea. I wanted to convey that milk thistle is special, very powerful and useful stuff. That gets rid of powerful toxins

Hm. I thought you were looking for ideas of how to take care of it at home.

Yup all good here 👍 😁
Milk thistle sounds like a great plant to have around !
Yeah, actually, if you look it up, i think it's horrors to have around. It's awfully spiny. Capsules work great for me, though. I take some on toxic-schmoxic days. Like if i work with oil paint or fiberglass resin. Or perfumed candles... I'm pretty sensitive.
I hope your foot improves over the next few days. That must have been quite a scare

Yeah it was at first ! Crazy enough it looks as though the swelling has gone down a little !

From what I read today, copperheads usually dry bite humans because we don't look like prey. I think I'd have run off to the hospital, but from what i read, he probably wouldn't have been given antivenom.
I think getting it checked out right away is good, but everybody makes choices.
My mom got hauled off in an ambulance once because of perfume exposure and the bill was $600 for the ride. It's intimidating. I understand the reluctance.

I reiterate, i do think it is good to go to the hospital immediately after getting bit by a copperhead or other venomous snake.

Once a social worker at a hospital told me, "Don't worry about the bill. If you don't have anything, they can't take anything from you." We lived in a pickup truck. The bills certainly can cause stress, but I've been amazed at things hospital charity care has paid for different people I've known.

You got lucky and got a dry bite.
Don't mess around next time. You get bit, don't listen to mommy's herbal remedies, you'll need an anti venom. Unless you want some of your toes and other limbs to rot off.🐍🐍
I know that ! But everything I've read says I'd probably be fine and I've said soooooo many times if it got worse I'd be in the hospital right now!
