Off topic...in your area (Florida) how long would it take the heat and humidity to rot treated wood? Just curious, thanks.

Not sure we have barns that have been here since the house was built back in the 60's only thing that seems to be a problem is the rain water splashing back up on a few place around bottom of the main barn. Couldn't tell you how long the fencing has been up but we have only had to replace a couple pieces from horse pasture or were a tree falls on it. Most people around here paint/stain or use the fencing with creosote? (sp)
