That looks great. Is hardware clothe better than 1" chicken wire?

Very nice coop. My coop is similar but is 3 ft off the ground, on 4 x 4 posts to keep predators from creeping or biting their way in. ( like a giant rabbit hutch ). I love the hardwire cloth too. It's worth the extra money for looks as well as safety. Again , the run and coop are going to look great. Are you going to paint or stain the wood? I didn't , but now I've been thinking of staining the wood in one of the nice colors that are on the market.

Yes the doors my hubby made I'm not good at those angle cuts so I let him do those for me. I will probably stain the whole thing next week. Just have to make a trip into town to get the gallon size. Plus hubby wants to paint on some of the roofing tar before we lay the rolled roofing down. Then I ordered the auto water bowls to run to each pen. I can't wait that is going to be so nice specially in the summer time. The frizzle took to it right away and the first night they went in to coop on their own! Silkies are another story I have to go pick them up everynight but they will get it my others ones go in their hutch but it took them a couple weeks to get the idea.
