Welcome! My first chicken was a rooster and I still love him. He's just a big fluffball with loads of personality. I've been working on slowly adding a few hens to the flock. It's addictive!

Thanks all for the welcome! I did rehome Chicken George, he immediately popped out of the depression he was apparently in! He's much more active, vocal and "cocky" in his new home and harem. Since then I bought 4 new chicks that are Leghorn mutts. Hopefully they are all girls so I don't have to rehome another rooster!
