Ive fallen in love with silkies...

I have seen silkies at stock show but dont know anything about them. Anyone want to share why they are so special?

Love this thread! So funny! I have one silkie chick with my batch of chicks. I bought one because I have read so many people talk positive about them. Its a little white one. Hope its not a rooster!

My silkie roo is a nasty little poopy head. He goes after anyone in the yard, and crows incessantly when his girl is broody (which is all the time!!!). He gets picked up when he attacks, because he can't see. Do I cull the evil little creature? Of course not! I buy his broody little girl friend three silkie chicks to take care of, so Butterscotch won't be lonely when she is broody. They are sure to be all boys too!

They are EVIL, with mind control powers....step away from the little poofy-headed fluffy butts.
