Congrats on the hatch!!

When I left for work this morning I had 4 chicks and 3 pips -

I came home to 9 chicks and 3 pips

I left to take my son to speech class, and when we returned we had another chick working its way out!

So 10 as of right now we have:
5 ee/br mixes
4 leghorn/br mix
1 brown egg (not sure who the mom is on this one dad is a barred rock)

2 yellow chicks and 8 black/silver/mix chicks

LOL this is so fun! SO addicting and SO stressful! LOL although the stress has eased some now that I have a feel for the temp/humidity spikes LOL

Well it seems like we may have come to a stop - we have 15 chicks hatched out. They are so cute and adorable. One is crusty, but he has since calmed down and the others have stopped picking on him.

so 15 out of the original 36 (only 25 ended up in the incubator). Would I ever do this again? YES! Just plan it so they hatch closer the weekend or during a school vacation

5 white eggs (2 of these chicks came out yellow - one has a small black spot on her back)
3 brown eggs
