Oh my that's all I wanted for Christmas, I didn't get one Husband said why do you need one.
Well he was going to town and asked do you need anything and I said a Incubator. I had put back a dozen eggs to try out and was fixing to put them in the fridge and give up hope for awhile.
And he got me one with a turner too.
I'm thrilled I've got a new toy. I set it up and I've got my temp I'll watch it for a while today then the eggs go in.
I wanted to get up last night and check it two or three time but I helt back till morning.
So if I have good luck with my own eggs I'll be looking to get some from the great BYC peeps.
I'll be looking for Barred Rock, RIR , Australorps,
And then a rare breed Lakenvelders or Campine .
I can't wait then more pens will need to be built ,
I don't know if he knew what he was getting into.
I'm hooked now that's for sure.
