This morning when I was checking temps I heard a cheep and looked closer and my buff silkie egg had a pip. It looks a little bigger now. I won't get anything done today. I'm gonna make a million trips upstairs to check progress. I'm so excited!!!!

YAY!!! Try not to mess with it or open up the incubator---believe me, I've learned the hard way...I've hatched out a TON of silkies!

It may take 24 hours to actually hatch...sometimes it takes less than an hour...it just all depends, but they need humidity. Are all your eggs due to hatch now? Cause if so, you can place a WARM, moist washcloth in their(don't touch the eggs) or a small cup of warm water in their for extra humidity. But I woudl only do this if they're all due to hatch. Keep me posted!!!

AND CONGRATS!!!

That's awesome, congrats, and make sure you post some pics when you've go them all out of the hatcher.

Heres my 1st two. They are almost dry but now I have one that is starting to zip so I will wait to take them out. These are 2 of my buff silkies.
