I've got a quick showing question

Do show quality chickens have to have no defects to be show quality. For example if chicken is supposed to have 5 points on a single comb and it only has 4 would that bird be show quality?

If only birds with no defects were shown there would be very few birds shown. In fact, in many cases, there would be no birds in a show. Think about it, if all the birds in a show had no defects how would the winners be picked. That missing point on a comb would be a 1/2 point deduction.
