I've got fuzzy butts again!!!!!!!!!

My boss is hiring me to raise chicks for me. He said he'd buy some at the feedstore and bring them over. He said a dozen or so.
Well this afternoon he brought over 18 day-old assorted Red breeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are so cute and tiny!!!!!!!!!

I know that the feedstore got in 100 each red sexlinks pullets, production red pullets, and RIR pullets from Ideal, they just came in this morning.
I can tell that he got some of all 3 breeds! lol
I want to get me some more chicks too since these are sexed as pullets. I had bad luck with getting a lot of roos this year from "straight runs"

Good thing today is payday, I'm gonna get me some more babies!!!!!!!!

I got myself 6 RIR pullets --- to make up for all the roos that I hatched/bought/got stuck with.

I actually only have 19 chickens with leg bands (to keep) in the yard --- out of about 67 total birds

This is my first time and I have NO self control when it comes to chicks either I have six in the brooder and think two might be roos out of my 6 sexed pullets Lol! So off I go to the Poultry swap this weekend to buy six more

At least your only keeping 25 out of 72 Lol!
