I've got some eggs to hatch! Yay!

I went out to a friend's house today to look at a sick goat for her, and she sent me home with two dozen Plymouth Rock eggs to hatch! I had to toss three that were cracked, so 21 eggs are going into the incubator tonight. I'm excited! I haven't hatched eggs since I was a kid. I just had to share

She has both barred and white rocks. Anyone know what color birds I should get if the two are mixed together? She tries to separate the two colors, but they escape and get mixed together pretty often, and I got eggs from both pens. So I assume some could be pure barred, some pure whites, and some a mix of the two...what color will that make? I'm just curious.

Ok, I'm going go go get those eggs in!

I haven't read that, I don't think...will check it out, thanks. Yeah, Rocks are good birds. I raised Barred Rocks when I was a kid and they were very good layers.
