My Black Star Markena has been giving me all the signs you guys told me about here for the laast 2 weeks:
Squatting every time I look at her, inspecting the nestboxes and I swear she is PMSing for raisins (their fave treat)
Tonight when I let the girls out for their evening playtime, I checked the nestboxes out of (hopeful) habit and....
FOUND AN EGG!!!
So sometime today - after I put them up in the coop around 7A & the time I got home around 5:30P - Ms Markena sang her song & became a Hen.
It's small, it's perfect and I can't decide how I'll fix it for myself
I'm thinking one very small serving of egg salad
