We are supposed to be getting major storms this evening. They even let school out early so everyone could get home and get battened down. I had supper ON THE TABLE by 4:30 and everyone is fed and washed and ready. I decided I had better go lock the girls up too, even though we have two good hours of daylight left. They were able to free range earlier today, and were put into their run when we sat down to supper so it was no biggie to catch them and start stuffing their fluffy buts through the pop door. Except that they DID NOT want to go. I had to do some serious chicken juggling, but got them in eventually. I stood there for a minute and listened to them and I'm pretty sure that the low pitched, rapid fire "tut-tut-tut" sound they were making was just what I thoght it was.
