I've lost my mind...

Hey! No, not yet. I checked them out and they have a minimum order of like some big money so I had to hold off...not working yet. I would like to try them but what if i don't like it? Then I am stuck with all that CG! LOL!

Have you tried them ever? Are they good? If you say they are good, I might try them but I've never heard of them...what you think?

Sorry man, I either make it or go out to maybe Las Palapas here in SA to eat some. Why don't you make it? The hardest thing to do is keep it from getting those stupid gloppy spots. Other than that it's pretty easy to make. Not to mention tasty!!!!

Poor Pedro...I hope you can get some soon. I'm almost tempted to go find out how much it would be to ship you some LOL.

Yes, you've lost your mind.

Actually, the first and only brooding I've done was 50 chicks. Nope, no starting out easy for me. They weren't difficult at all. The eat a lot. Plan on a bag of feed a week if not more. Oh, they poop a lot too, but that's a given.

"Aw Pedro....I never measure anything. I'll have to sit down and figure out approximate measures for you. I'll get back to you when I figure it out LOL"

Thanks! That's what my sisters say too. They all just make it by "feel". Geesh! Imagine, if you will, her telling me over the phone..."just enough to fill half your fist..." Hello? I have bigger hands than she does! Is it half HER fist or half MINE?

Or..."Well, you'll know when it gets *that smell*." WHAT smell?

I can go on and on...but, I won't.

Not that it matters but, are you Hispanic too? You certainly think or do things like we do! LOL!)

I finally told her to WRITE it down as she is doing it next time and try to measure with cups, glasses or whatever kitchen utensils she has around...she just laughed. I was serious!

We'll see!

Peace-

PS Please don't tell me you use your lips as directionals instead of your finger. My sister will purse her lips and tilt her head back to indicate a certain direction-facing said direction. Mind you, her hands are free and unobstructed. Does anyone else do this? Or is this is a Hispanic thing? The first time I saw her do this I was like, "what's wrong with you?"

LOL nope Pedro, I'm just a white girl living in Hispanic central LOL I love my mexican food though. I guess I picked up the not measuring anything from my grandma. Seriously, I cook by smell alot. I'll be cooking and say, "It smells like it's missing something" and my husband just looks at me like I'm nuts. Oh well, it works for me. I'm thinking of getting some stuff to make it when I go to the store today.

You know, if all else fails, they sell a carne guisada seasoning. You can't go too wrong with it, though I like to add everything myself.... You just need to be sure when you cook it to let it cook slow. If you rush it and cook it too fast the meat will be tough.

BTW, my step-father is hispanic and his family owns a Mexican restaraunt here in town. Not that I learned any cooking from him.....he burns everything

I didn't think about the possibility of MOST of them being roosters until Lacy mentioned it (Thanks again Lacy

...kidding!)

Good thing I didn't go with Murray! They couldn't deliver until February. At least this way, I get them in less than a month. I can deal with restless nights for one month...NOT two.
