I've moved please help

Hi all. My name is Jessica and I have recently moved to Methuen Massachusetts . My husband and I would really love chickens but we can't seem to find any literature to see if it is allowed. I called the town and was on hold for too long and sadly they are closed now. In the meantime I was wondering that maybe someone here had a clue. Thank you in advance
