I got three hens on Saturday that were from an April hatch. We got two New Hampshire Reds and one Plymouth Barred Rock. We've finally got the final names for them:
NHR #1: Tractor. We came across this name because we dabble (slightly) in tracking with my dog, and a friend was over and said, "We'll make them tracking chickens!" Only one followed the trail, hence, Tractor.
NHR #1: Sketch. This one is super spastic and sketched out. Doesn't like to be touched. Seemed fitting.
PBR: Pabst. I mean, can you find a more fitting name for a breed that shares the acronym of a famous beer?
Just happy we got them finalized!
