im wondering if I can use ivermectin paste 1.87% to deworm my chickens. as a precaution. if so how much do I use and for how long? and how long should I wait until I hatch eggs?

I would follow the recommendations on the package insert from the manufacturer. I would not treat them, unless there is a problem.

To me, prophylactic treatment is more of a hallmark of large scale operations. I suspect that the typical homeowner flock has few, if any, problems.

It's based for horses so it does not have the dosage for chickens on it
