Ivermectin paste questions

I found a single roundworm in the chicken poo two weeks ago. I treated with Wazine. I understand I should follow up with Ivermectin. Our store only had a big bottle of Ivermectin pour on that was like $75. No thanks. So I got one of the tubes of horse paste. I've searched and read a bit but am still a bit confused. They chickens are 9 months old and this is our first time worming.

Questions:
How much paste should I used for each bird? I have Brahma and EE. All large fowl. One roo who is bigger than the girls.
Do I put it on top of the beak and kind of smear it in? Or inside their beak so they eat it?
How long until we can eat the eggs?
I've been treating my roo for a mild but persistent case of scaley leg mites. Will the Ivermectin kill those?

Thanks!

I have very recently had the same question, yesterday:) A BB size amount on a piece of bread was suggested. For me, the trick will be how to feed them the bread one at a time. I think two weeks is the time you need to wait before eating the eggs.

First of all what is the percentage on the Ivermec? If it is the 1.87%, then a small green pea or BB sized drop into the mouth, good luck don't re-dose if you dont get it all in, if you over do it it can be very harmful. You can use a small needLESS syringe and measure out 0.1 ml sometimes its easier to get it on their tongue dont squirt it down the throat either, just inside the beak. Good luck, and yes I think it helps with scaly leg mite, but not positive.

I did the small drop on a piece of bread and we just hand fed each bird. Worked great. I think my dose was a little smaller than a pea-I was afraid to overdose.

Yes it also kills leg mites, if it can reach them. You need to continue the oil or vaseline or whatever you put on their legs as well.
