Ivermectin safe for use on coturnix?

is ivermectin safe for use on coturnix quails? i have a few that are acting like they have gape worms. ive seen the dose at 1 drop for old english game bantams but would that one drop work on quail as well? im looking at getting the pour on instead of the water based wormers

Also check for moldy feed- aspergillosis can make them gasp silently.

i havent noticed any mouldy feed or litter but in saying that it has been very humid here and raining heavily on and off for several weeks.

i still need to worm them as they are outside on deep litter in a pen.

Ivermectin is fine for quail, I have used it in the past on them with no probs, if you suspect gapeworm a drop in the mouth of each bird should work.
