HELLO EVERYONE IN BACKYARD CHICKENS, THIS IS MY FIRST INTRO LETTER,
I AM 76 YEARS YOUNG AND GETTING YOUNGER.
I LIVE IN A SMALL TOWN IN ENGLAND CALLED BARROW-IN-FURNESS, MID NORTH WEST COAST IN THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA.
I'M INTO BREEDING BANTAMS ONLY AS A HOBBY.
I HAVE NOT BEEN AT THE GAME LONG AND ONLY HAVE FOUR AT THE MOMENT THEY ARE ONE OLD ENGLISH ROOSTER, ONE BLACK AND WHITE EXCHEQUER LEGHORN. ONE BELGIUM d'uccle MILLEFLEUR,( NOT SURE IF ITS A HEN OR A ROO ) AND ANOTHER BLACK AND WHITE HEN.
ALL OF THEM I HATCHED FROM EGGS BOUGHT ON EBAY.
I'M SURE BACKYARD CHICKENS WILL HELP ME TREMENDOUSLY, I'M VERY PLEASED I FOUND THIS MOST HELPFUL COMMUNITY, BEST REGARDS JACKO.

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

I like the smaller breeds, too. I started with a half-dozen chicks of various bantam breeds, and now I have - well - I don't really want to know how many are out there. The scary thing is, I am thinking about putting some Serama eggs into the incubator.

Oh, yes, just what I need, more chickens, right? Stick around, you'll learn all about "chicken math!"
