J.J.,

I know there is no guarentee of a rooster but I have a cousin that would be interested in some of the chickens anyway. What color are your pheniox?

So just let me know how they cooperate.

My husband has been looking at photos of phoenix roos and is very intrigued by them. I have wondered about hatching eggs and surprising him but where would I put another roo? LOL Too bad they can't all live together and get along. I love the look of so many roosters and have to settle for only or two breeds.

MissPrissy,

I have 3 White Leghorn Roosters and not sure how many Polish Rooster and it's funny how they stay on their side of the field. The 3 White Leghorn Roosters free range all the time and roost in the trees. The polish go in at night with the other polish but they all seem to have an understand as to what everyone's duty is on the property.

Well, I'm probably biased but I don't think so since I house so many breeds. But my phoenix boys are much like parrots. I hand raise them, I hand feed them and they live pretty much solitary lives. I can walk in a pen and ask them to step up and they do. I can take them out in public for educational promotions and they will perch all day long. I can take them to town and semi trucks and motorcycles do not phase them. I do however never ever put to adult males together. I have special perches that allow me to take 3 at a time, but there is a spacer board between them so they hear each other ,but do not see each other. I can house many juveniles together until about 6 months then the JUNGLE in them seems to come out. I have many colors but since it is spring I only have limited hatching eggs available. Jackie I have 6 eggs from the golden pen available. PM me at the ezboard site for details if you would?tp://p072.ezboard.com/bbackyardchickens Thank you J.J.

JJ,

I'm sorry I didn't see your message. That sounds so exciting. About how they come to you. I have the perfect pen for that!!!

See I want the different types of chickens because I want to show them for educational reasons. I just see such a need in kids lives. So many need something to love.

Try to email me first and see if it will come through. It did last time.
