Joey, i hope you plan to put more pictures up.

so glad you got that thing home. I think the jack idea was a great.

Thanks everyone I will definately keep this thread updated. I bet every shed does get easier, the hardest part was figuring out a plan and trying different things until we found something that works. Once we found a way to do it things were much easier. Boy 6 sheds you must be a pro/a glutton for punishment

I haven't finished anything on the coop yet. I was out with my horse tonight. She has an eye injury and requires ointment multiple times a day. We will get more done this weekend though.

ETA my mare and I got to play with one of those big red horse balls tonight. She just turned 4 and we are going to do her first ride next week so it will be lots of fun.

Fantastic find we also got one off craigslist and had to pay for it, but only two hundred. I was so excited it was unreal. Our roof does overhang all four sides. DH did revamping to the inside and out and I think it has turned out wonderful for what we have in it. I read the other post someone wrote about it may only last ten years. I'm good with that. Enjoy your project, you and your feather babies will love it. We still have a little work to do on ours, like a window and some small extra's and then ours will be done. One thing I would suggest is that we put ours on 4x4's treated, that is keeping it off the ground, allowing water to run away from it and it won't be sitting in mud or snow. We got louvered vents at Lowes for less than $2 each and put those in. We are also in the process of prowling the internet to find a solar exhaust fan to put in the back of the shed at the top to help in pulling out the hot air. Good luck and enjoy and yes I would also love to see more pics.

I want to see the pictures of the blood, sweat, and tears that were involved on getting that huge thing up on that trailer!!! I'm so envious! I see cheap (not free like yours) sheds around here quite often, but figure the cost of transporting it wouldn't be worth it since we don't have connections to a flat bed. THAT will make you a fabulous coop!!
