I don't know what has caused this, but I have separated her from the others and hope she gets her feathers back..I posted photos to my profile. Thank you!

Looks like her wings are moulting because the pin feathers are evenly growing in.

If you have a rooster, It is probably the mating that pulled the feathers out in the first place. As long as nobody picks and destroys those pin feathers, she doesn't have to be separated. If those pin feathers are broken or destroyed (they are filled with blood) it may entice others to pick and she will remain "bald" longer.

I wondered. Its' just we don't have a Rooster. We had one from Dec to Feb, and he did mount her a few times, but he's gone. She has an area on one wing closer in that is bare, and I was thinking there is a problem. She is separated for her own good right now and to give relief to my younger girls that she is "stalking"...LOL...she's been so nervous since last year's Coyote attack that I'm hoping that this individual attention will help her relax. I HOPE! Thank you for this information. She did stop laying 2 weeks ago, so I thought just maybe molting, but she usually does that in the winter. Thank you!

JamJam's feathers have all grown back and she is very happy in her new enclosure.

very possible! Thank you :)
JamJam is missing. She went missing yesterday. We did find 2 new eggs under the bushes on the hill, but no sign of her. She was free ranging with Madonna. Madonna is 14 and was having a dirt bath when we checked on them, but no sign of JamJam...the other hens were locked in their coop. Very sad day :(
