Jan 1 - Start new year with new eggs in incubator?

Ready, set, watch them hatch....

I set these at 6 oclock!!

Set a dozen 3 days ago and am expecting another dozen in the mail next week. This is very eggdicting.

I Candled last night. I have 2 clear eggs. The rest are showing developement.

I set 22 eggs, so I am down to 20 . . . .

I candled again tonight - - Day 12.
Movement in all eggs except the two that showed no development on Day 7.
They were still clear, so we removed them from the incubator.

I am so excited! This incubation is going so much better this time around.
Second trys are a GREAT Thing . . . .

I am expecting 6 OE and 14 BCMs on the 21st.

Nine out of twelve in lockdown last night. One I am not hopefully with ,but put in in any way. Hope for black frizzle hens.
