I candled my 9 January 28th eggs - I think all of them are fertile! Woop!
Glad to hear that... I'm actually thinking on building a candler using a small box and one of those energy efficient lights since they don't get very hot.. I need to TRY to check my EE eggs but no flashlight (LED or otherwise) are nearly strong enough... I can BARELY see the air cell in some of them but not all of them and definitely cannot see anything else... I know the ones that came from the fridge are probably duds and wont know something is wrong until they start weeping.. I want to try to avoid that...

Welcome to the hatch!! Hmmmm... How do we handle the wait?? Well, that's an age old question that none of us have been able to answer yet... By the time our hatches are done, people around us start looking for a "hug me" jacket for us...
We set our eggs this past Sunday night late at night & candled last night. It's a tiny 3-egg incubator so we put three "mystery eggs" in it (fertile eggs from the grocery store). All three eggs have developed the appropriate vascular complexes/bundles & we can clearly see the veins !! So there is development happening. We are soooo excited. I know it's too early to be hopeful for a 100% hatch, but anything is possible, is it not??
