Congrats on all new hatches, they look adorable!

I'm on day 16. Who knew 21 days could feel like forever! It's almost like waiting for Christmas day as a child all over again.

Me Too day 16 so happy to see chicks dancing in there eggs lol, And then I have a couple more do a couple days after that actually there should have been 12 but there are only two that seem to still be viable. I am so scared of making the wrong decision that I have not thrown any away not even the obviously clear ones lol I keep smelling them though lol. By the way what does everyone do with there bad eggs?

Tonight is lockdown for me (finally)! I will post pics and an update later. I sometimes think the 3 day wait to hatch day takes longer than the previous 18 days, but I try to keep myself occupied so I can fast forward to hatch day. Lol.

Does anyone use an egg turner in their incubators? If you do how do you position the eggs at lockdown? Do you just leave them in the egg turner but stop turning or do you lay them on their sides?

I know what you mean! I started out with 12 and am down to probably 3 (I have to perform a float test today to see if my #4 quit on me). Last week a tragedy happened and the table my incubator was sitting on broke and the incubator fell, so half of them broke open and one of them didn't survive even though it didn't break open. They were on day 11. I was pretty upset, but it seems like the remaining 3 are going strong despite this incident. One of them has a small crack in the shell, but a little candle wax and careful turning/candling is keeping the little thing alive. I just want them to hatch so that I can see that they are OK. It's starting to get hard to see them in their eggs!
