having surgery the 5 to replace disk in his neck UGH!!

suppose to be in the 60's later today...glad for that I need to clean coops

all of my polish candy corn eggs are doing great...10 more days!!

went and got my bag of chick starter feed last night, so come on little egg! I have another shipment of eggs coming in next week so filling the incubator up again asap. I'm hooked...

I have 7 Ameraucanas set to hatch in 15 days in a Brinsea Mini Advance... I'm not sure how much that will or won't happen. They were packaged badly and shipped a long way. :| There may be some badly detached aircells and they may have been xrayed. There is definitely SOMETHING going on is at least SOME of those eggs but it's hard to say what. I found some success candling Maran hatching eggs over the fall with my mom's maglight. I may try that again and see what I can see!

OMG - there are over 500 posts since I last posted????? Everyone must be hatching? I will try to read some but doubt if I can do them all I will be x eyed!

Well things here are progressing and I can't believe the time has flown in. We will be going into DAY 14 tomorrow and its evening here now so we are really on the countdown to lockdown!!!!!!!!!
Added more water to the Bator this morning as it had dried up ugh hope that doesn;t do any damage. The eggs have been staying at a constant temp and I have turned them 3 times a day. I have not been panicking about them like I did with the other eggs and I have not candled them. I did try but couldn;t see anything so put it back and have not tried since. I don;t know if I will get anything at all it is going to be a surprise ! OMG if anything living or viable comes out of that incubator it will be a miricle! lol Well the distructions say on day 18 I just fill up the outer ring under the eggs with water ( inner ring is already full) And lockdown and wait. How hard can it be? OMG! I have such a bad record on hatchings! I have done nothing at all to try to get everything right this time. It either works or it doesn't - As DH says Not our eggs they are his sisters! Darn they will hatch to spite me and they will be lovely little bundles of fluff!

Oh no no no communication is a must!!! And I've only got one incubator right now lg forced air and some of my eggs are very tiny! I'm going to buy another incubator when my ducks start laying then I'll be popping out more chicks than I have room for but as of right now I have a 20x20ft heated coop and a half acre fenced in pen and only 2 welsh Harlequin ducks who hate the coop :-( was originally going to stack the eggs like a old man told me then I realized if I put all the eggs standing up pointy end down they all fit and to turn I tilt the incubator3 times a day going to see how this works I didn't meant to get this many eggs but people giving me such tiny eggs and I can't just toss a egg out I'm already a hatch aholic and I have a 10 gallon aquarium I'm going to use as a second hatcher in case a lot of them make it to lock down

He shipped them, and sent a separate e-mail to talk to me. Smack my patties..I shouldn't say anything for a while..they are having such bad weather out there!

Do they go into lockdown Sunday Feb 2nd?
