Jan./Feb. 2014 hatch a long

Being only 3/4 inch high, did any of them get tipped over during hatching/ lockdown?

I didn't have any problems with the hatching part, and they were fine laying on them. But they did not try to play on them. So can't say if that would be an issue. We are still toying with the idea of attaching them together, but I like being able to decide how many I want to put in. Possibly attaching just 3 total would work, still thinking about it. But I sure do love that it's lower than eggs cartons.

OMG that is a very nice coop you get there. Love it
We also completely fenced the whole area around the coop/pens. Then we have our property perimeter fence as well. We have foxes, so we let our pyrenees run the property section at night. The foxes would have to get past the property fence, our dog, the coop area fence and the coop's fencing. Plus it give the chickens a free range area when we aren't outside, or the property free range when we are. My hubby likes fencing and anything woodworking. Now on to the quail pen and run...

Chickydee I was just at my farm it took forever to get mammy still. When I finally did her stomach was firm. Compared to Reggie's which moved around...hes a fatty ;)I also thought I saw when she breathed some kicking. She is also huge like someone shoved a small barrel in her, like her shape. I watched a video with a pregnant sheep and im almost certain she is. No sign of teats yet crossing my fingers.
