Trying to clean the house. Washing my bedding. What's the point when this keeps happening. Now I have towash my mattress pad again. I can't blame them. I love taking a nap on a freshly washed bed.

Have to agree with silkie..not allowed on my bed..just my doggie.

I made it home early afternoon. Feeling pretty good considering, although I'm itching non stop from the morphine they gave me last night. Looks like I'll stay drugged up on benedryl for a while so I can get some rest.

Eggs are turned! I will probably try to candle tonight. I have 10 of my own eggs in that are from a buff orpington hen crossed on a barred rock roo (my coyote survivors), along with quite a few Wheaton Marans eggs for a friend. I need to get a better candleing setup if I'm going to candle many of hers! falling back asleep now...benedryl haze

Whew! I'm glad chickies are resilient, because mine are missing a couple turnings. Had my first trip to the er ever last night...I got admitted to the hospital last night for a lung bruise but thankfully no broken ribs after I tripped and got ran over by a scared horse. They still have me here for observation but hoping to go home today. My DH will go home to chore and turn eggs if it's too long. I love my horses dearly, but am thinking I might try a mule someday because I hear they aren't nearly as spooky. I'm so glad I've got baby bunnies and chicks due in the next week, because it's going to be tough staying out of the saddle while I'm sore. At least I'll have something to fixate on!

Wow, look at my Sara. She is one of my EEs. I bought her from a feed store that got her from Mt. Healthy. She is 9 months. About 2 months ago she looked identical to your Sparkle. Is she super smart too? She is my favorite. I even made a chicky bank.

I have three broody hens with their own little clutch. They have 2 Heritage Delaware, 3 light Sussex, 1 easter egger and 2 quail eggs! They are all in pens stacked on each other and I hear them talking to each other sometimes when I walk by. (12 Red coturnix quail eggs going in incubator tomorrow!)
