Sorry more graphic pics how far when it quit? It seemed to be wrapped up in its yolk.

Is it ok to join for my first hatch EVER?! I'm on day 5 hatching about 30 eggs consisting of blue and black Marans, Wheaton/blue Wheaton ameraucanas, and a couple brown leghorn/bbs ameraucana cross. Using a janoel8-48. Manual turning since the turner it came with isn't working properly. Eggs from my current flock. Excited

Pictures to come on day 7 candling. Weeeeeeeeeee!

Oooh! Do you sell your wheaten ameraucana eggs per chance? I was dissatisfied how mine came to me... Packaged on their sides, they could shift around and no do not x ray on them. :( I have some significant saddle cells on a couple and one had a shell that looked like it had oil spots and discoloring all over it and I just got rid of that one before even setting (had one too many anyhow). Not sure what will/won't hatch and I may wanna get some more! (After my maran eggs of course!)

Didn't even begin to absorb the yolk. I'm gonna say day 18-19 quitter. Sometimes it just happens. Give the others another day or 2 in case temps were off. They may just be running late.

So it must have quit about the time I put it is lock down ok well I will give the others a couple more days and see what happens. I know my temp was a bit low it ran at 99 the entire time.

don't give up, depending on temps they could be a little late? I've had a similar problem twice. I turned out to have drowned them by having too high a humidity. Good luck!

Thank you. I'm a terrible mother hen hovering now! My temps have been constant at 100-102 (in a still air) and humidity was at 30 until day 18 AM, then at 40-50 and has been at 57-63 constant since day 18 PM. I'm a little terrified that my humidity is high - When should I candle them to see how they are or if I did drown them or do something else wrong?

Crossing all of my fingers and toes that someone pips tonight.
