Janoel 24 incubator/first time incubating

First time incubating eggs for me I'm using a cheapie Chinese 24 egg incubator although if they were large fowl eggs I think 24 would be a tight fit in it I have 12 Silkie eggs (a mix of colours.. paint, black carrying paint gene, gold, white, partridge and more), 6 black Japanese bantams, 2 Vorwerk bantams, 2 sablepoots (porcelain and milefleur), 1 cuckoo maran bantam and a mystery egg (the last 6 were a pick and mix bantam selection and I can't read the writing on the final egg lol) all were ebay eggsfrom sellers with good follow up so I'm being optimistic and hoping for a good hatch anyone else expecting hatches on 21st July?

I was wondering, what do Paint Silkies look like? Are they the same as Splash?

I am

, white leghorns x golden laced Wyandotte. I also have a janoel 24 and had a very successful first hatch when I used it for the first time, 14 out of 17 hatched, 2 had died in the shell and one was infertile. I think they're great little incubators, although I only have 7 eggs in there this time, I am on day 4 and just candled. All are fertile . Good Luck

I have a janoel 12 good little thing i hope first time hatching in it ,I started with 4 polish n 6 silkie eggs ,sadly all my polish av quit 4 of my silkies are going strong 2 had no development ,13 days to go so just a few days before you good luck to u im so nervous and just want to hatch some chickens x

On day 5 now and have 13 eggs out of 24 looking like they're developing; 4 black x paint silkies, 3 mixed silkies, 4 Black Japanese bantams and 2 mixed bantam eggs.... Out of the rest I had 2 mixed silkie eggs quit very early, 1 was oozing junk and the rest hadn't developed at all so all thrown out happy with how everything is going so far

Aww good its all exciting love seeing them move around I just hope mine goes well I tried twice before but I ad a rubbish bator which didnt hold temp so im crossing everything this time im going to drive myself crazy lol

I am on day four right now and about to candle. I am so glad that you posted your pic - it gives me a great reference! I am very nervous because this is my first time.
