So I have a janoel12 and the water tray is almost full but the humidity is only say 45%

Try adding a sponge, I had to do that with mine. I also saw a recommendation to add a paper towel to the bottem and have it come up the sides a little. I haven't tried that as my eggs are hatching currently.
