Congrats on your pips, keep us posted and remember to share some pictures when you canOk so I thought I wouldn't update till one hatched because yesterday was incredibly exhausting and I thought I'd rest today... however I'm TOO excited to rest.
Got home about 9pm last night, I was so worried id already have an early pip so I rushed right over to get my incubator ready for lockdown and mark air cells on my eggs. I opened the lid and I hear crazy chirping... eeek! That put me into super fast mode. Began candling the eggs and marked a few air cells then I realized that would take way too long for 22 eggs and if there are any pips I gotta get the humidity up. So I decided to just find where the big end of the air cell was and face them up without marking them. Finally found an egg with a tiny little pip, almost missed it. So I was careful not to move that egg too much. Got all the eggs situated and went to work raising humidity. I waited up for a bit to make sure temp and humidity went up. But like I said I was exhausted so I was out like a light after that.
Surprisingly woke up to 3 more pips. The first pip is still working at it but I'm getting a little worried. No one was home all day yesterday so I have no idea how long it's been pipped. The humidity was only in the 30s when I got home. It's still alive for sure but not making as fast progress as I want to see.
Meanwhile, I went to work unpacking and doing laundry... I'm now up to 9 pips! This is crazy, day 21 doesn't even start until 1120pm tomorrow! I am beyond excited. This is definitely going much better than my first hatch. I'm just praying these guys actually make it out of their shells now especially the one that pipped first.
