JANUARY 2015 Hatch-A-Long

Well we have everyone but 2 hatched out now, barred rock and rhoad island red mixed with EE. I have never hatched before and have never had this many chicks!

made a quick run out of state for a couple days. made it back at the end of day 18. Have 23 of them in lockdown now. day 19 started at 6pm. cant wait.

I went on a vacation once and the eggs were to hatch 2 days before I got back. 7/11 hatched the other eggs got kicked away from the light and didn't hatch. I had left them at day 18, and they figured out food and water on their own.

the pic was not my current design, and back then I had it set up that way on day 18 because I thought it was more brooder like. since I was to be gone.
