dry hatch until the end then at first pip toss in paper towels. currently I do have a little water in incubator, because it's winter and we live in a dry cold climate. but I can feel moisture in incubator when i turn and here is how they look when hatched moist enough.

Final count/hatched:9 quail,3 chicks & 6 ducklings.

That's it for January 2015. I am putting away my incubator. I need to prepare to move in June. Happy hatching all!

Cold and dry currently. If you read up on dry hatching, many people still dry hatch and live in dry climates.
