Right now have a golden Pyrenees. His name is buddy. He’s a cross of a golden retriever and Great Pyrenees And has such wavy ears and has dual claws too. Such a loveable dog. He is is about to turn one at the end of this month. I’ve seen these dogs sold for 600$! He was our little Walmart puppy cause a man had them in the back of his truck giving them away! We were lucky to find such a great family members he’s saved my chickens countless times and he’s the biggest snuggle bug. He must think he’s 30 lbs when he’s 70lbs! Here he is as a pup and there he is in the fall. He’s much bigger now I will find a more recent photo here in a second.

Us too! We were actually happy to get the snow. We depend on it for our summer water. The more we get in those mountains, the better.

View attachment 1242852 This one hatched this morning, 5 toes and feathered feet! I think it’s out of my black Cochin and my white Cochin rooster. Still waiting on the other eggs to hatch

I love, love, Bantam cochins! Like the large breed too, but too big for my back yard. I've hatched for so many years. I had so much fun hatching this breed, or that, just to see them. I love getting the eggs now. I need to have some color in there, so I have an EE or OE out there. Right now, I have a different girl out there for green egg. She's a cuckoo bluebar. Lays great. Especially for a beginner. I wasn't sure I was going to like that comb at first, but now I think it's cute.

You just need the humidity over 55%. I put a humidifier in the room to help with the humidity in the actual incubator.. it helps it not actually lose it as much, believe it or not! haha. I'm such an odd bird... I know. Best of luck. If you don't have a humidifier try a new soaked sponge or something like that inside of the incubator to keep the humidity stable.

Thank you sooooo much!!!! I have just got back - humidity was down to 36% so I put a straw through the vent hole and put in about 60ml of water - I will try and get it to 50%

Usually, when that happens I syringe through the vent hole. For lockdown, i always keep humidity around 65- 75 %

Thank you - just taken your advice and used a straw to syringe 60ml of water into the bottom tray

I do, BUT... I don’t have a bantam Cochin rooster. I have them with a porcelain D’uccle rooster
