Man, perfect air cell. Wish all of mine looked that good. The shipping on these eggs are pretty much par the course. Most have high cells. Will take some photos tonight, I will pretty much have them ready for lock down. Tommorw is lockdown. Will be working on getting humidity up and stable. What? Lock down already? Whoot, I'm going to have some babies. It's been a while because of my shoulder surgery. At least I hope I have some hatch. :fl

That's a bummer you had to give away your roosters. Is that a city ordinance? I love good roosters. They add so much to the flock. There have been periods where I've been roosterless. I didn't realize how much I missed them until a rogue one showed up (aka dumped) and moved in with my hens. Right now I'm growing a bunch out to see who stays nice once spring fever hormones sets in. Naughty roosters go in the pot.

You've used that term before. What do you mean by "high air cell"? I'm not familiar with that one.

We have HOA's that are never enforced, if I lay low I can have roosters (even thought we live in the country on 2 acres w/greenbelts) but I had a gal that was willing to collect my roosters, (for her lonely hens) plus I want to keep my options open for some of these new babies in the incubator, we may get some interesting and they are pures! But for now I still have Dezi.(in the pic he is with 2 blue Isbar chicks)

My LO's were pure too, but I didn't have a relationship with them.

Here are a couple of photos of some high air cells. Gives the chick less room to turn to pip. Unfortunately, my only pretty blue egg has an even higher one than these.
