Well, no hatching today at the beginning of the lockdown. Is there a humidity ceiling that we don't want to hit during lockdown?

Also I have a quick question? I know it’s most likely a no but is there any way to tell if a chick will be black or white still inside the egg? I have order chicks of different colors so I was just wondering . Thank you. I’m sorry I’m sure that’s a silly question and maybe it’s better not to know so you can be surprised.
We're they shipped? If not, and they come from your own flock, it could be a couple of reasons why. But, shipping is a huge reason. Or..Turning too fast the first week. They need to be handled very carefully. Having the humidity too high in the beginning could cause it..their own moisture needs to escape, happens mostly in the first week. Well, going to go get my bator set up for lock down..Well no wonder I had such an issue with malpositioned chicks and pipping at the wrong end! I didn't even know there was such a thing, but some of my eggs definitely had high air cells. I wonder what causes them? Since my hatch was kind of an emergency situation some of my eggs were probably older than they should have been. Maybe that's the cause?
Well Today is day 10, I had open up to put water in incubator, so since it was opened, I candled. 11 of my shipped eggs are doing great, I had 18 total sent, 5 were clears and 2 were blood ringed. I am more than happy with my eggs! they were samplers of 5 diff kinds of eggs, so far I still have every breed in the samples!
Of my own eggs, 3 are too dark to tell 6 are doing good! I started out with more, a lot were clear because my LO roosters were so young, but they got 6+ eggs fertilized so yeah them. It was a good thing I set so many eggs, because now the clears are gone and I have just the right amount.
All is good, I was getting worried I had too many birds, but now it will be just right. Sometimes chicken math evens it's self out.
Yep.When do you stop turning the eggs is it just lock down
