I could have a lot of different colors of silkies and even marans so I was just wondering.I think just depends on your breed, right? What breed are you hatching? Otherwise, if you're hatching one that can have 5 different variations, then you can't know which of the variations it will be until it hatches out. But, if you're hatching a white leghorn, or a bresse, then you will know that they will be a white chicken. I don't think it's a stupid question.
I got eggs from eBay as well and I’m super surprised with how well these are! She added a heat pack and even insulated the box with metal foil! I loved the experience and had beautiful breeds. Let me know if you want her email and tell her scott sent you if you do!

I know with the silkies it could be splash blue black partridge white and even showgirls! I think one of the more brownish silkie eggs will be a showgirl. I’ve never had that so I’m excited. Also the marans are all black blue and splash. And my wyandottes I am hoping to be blue laced red.I don't think so.. just the punnett square and the odds of what you'll get. I read a website that listed what you'd get if you plugged in what you were breeding together and it gave you all of the variations of the outcomes, but I forget where that website was.
Nice! I've got some silkie eggs in the incubator so I'm super excited about those. I sincerely hope they are successful and hatch out. They are ones that I've been most excited about and will not ship out to anyone either my aunt or my sister! lol They are both wanting some of my chickens, and I want to keep my silkies!
