Going on day 20 iv been hearing peeping since lock down but for the life of me can't see any chicks trying to hatch or which egg it driving me nuts

It's so frustrating when that happens. It's like come on babies.. pop out of that shell! Come on.. just pop out! lol

Also I have a question going into lockdown in 7 days? I have my eggs pointy end down in egg cartons. When I go into lock down do I just leave them like that? Set them on their sides? Or what? Thank you

so im getting really close to lock down and i was wonderng do i lock down on day 18 and not turn them on day 18 and just turn then the 17th or do i turn them all day the 18 and lock them down the next day

I'll hatch in cartons. I've done it once before and gotten good results with shipped eggs. There isn't a rule to do it. Personal preference.

I incubate with eggs upright.

Have left them that way to hatch. I use the trays in my cabinet. Before I got cabinet I used egg cartons with bottom of each compartment cut out for airflow.
Tried laying them down don't think i got as good of hatch rate.
