Rirs are a very good breed I have a couple in my flock o love them they are nice and they lay good sized eggs

So broody got off her nest and her eggs were stone cold, do the eggs have a chance?

Wow, I knew this would be a bad hatch, but not this bad. 3 of 7 that went into lock down. The ones that made it, are the ones with the most decent air sacs...one that had a high air cell did pip....at the wrong end. Went ahead and tried assisting, but, I could tell it wouldn't make it. The others that didn't make it were also stuck in the wrong end, head at the pointy end. They just can't turn with real high air cells. So, 2 blacks, and 1 dark blue. It is fun to hear babies in my house again.

Ahhhhhhh I'm so glad you had 3 make it!! Such a bummer about the other ones when they made it that far into the hatch

I’m on day 14!!! This is so exciting out of 22 of my eggs 16 were fertile and I have 15 I believe will make it to lovk down! And is there a way to tell if the chick is positioning itself in the right direction?
